I think my college application process was much easier because I worked with the Stanford Academy. As I had not attended school in the US, I had always had much concern about achieving my long dream of going to a university in the US. I can confidently say that my admission was possible because of David. 

I first had vague ideas about the life in the US, and he gave the most help in deciding which school I would go to. I did not know much about Cornell, and the critical reason I decided to apply to this school was after I listened to the practical advice David gave me. As he majored in philosophy and physics, he moreover guided my perspective of viewing various fields of academics I would handle at the US. 

David also helped me much in setting the direction of my personal essay. I had a hard time deciding which episodes to use in my personal essay, and the discussions and tutorials I had with David definitely helped me set direction and develop my ideas. At first, I simply came up with factual reports based on my resume but eventually started to come up with episodes that truly touched my heart regardless of the significance they had on my resume. Although I did not have much problem communicating in English, I had issues in crafting a well-written essay with native expressions. He helped change my essays deliberately so that it would not be too expert like. 

As I was the first student in my high school to apply to a university in the US, the school counselor and teachers had many questions regarding the process of preparing the recommendations, school report, and many other minor details. David guided every single part of my application, communicating with my school when they had issues. I was as a result much more relaxed in finishing all the paperwork for college admission. Even after I got admitted, he helped me make future plans and take care of the materials I had to hand into school.

The person that I thanked most after my admission was with no doubt David and the Stanford Academy. University being a crucial step in my career path, I believe that his help to me cannot be thanked enough.
